Ingredients Of Easy Chicken Biryani
- Rice – 1 Kg
- Chicken – 1 Kg
- Onion (Chopped) – 3
- Tomato (Chopped) – 5 or 6
- Garlic Ginger Paste – 2 Tablespoon
- Yogurt – 1 Cup
- Green Chili (Chopped) – 8
- Green Coriander (Chopped) – Half Bunch
- Mint Leaves (Chopped) – Half Bunch
- Salt – To Taste
- Red Chili – 2 Tablespoon
- Turmeric Powder – 1 Teaspoon
- White Cumin – 1 Teaspoon
- Dry Coriander Powder – 1 Tablespoon
- Cardamom – 6
- Garam Masala – 2 Tablespoon
- Milk – 1/2 Cup
- Oil – 1 Cup
Quick & Easy Chicken Biryani Recipe
1- Boil the rice with one pinch of salt and half tea-spoon of garam masala and remove the rice from the stove 3 to 4 minutes before it completely boiled. After that drain the boiled rice through stainer.
2- Take a pot and put oil in it. Heat up the oil for 3 to 5 minutes and add garam masala in it. After cooking for few minutes and chopped onion in the put. Now fry the onion until it turns golden brown.
3- When the onion turns brown put garlic ginger paste, turmeric powder and white cumin in it and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes. Then add the Tomato and cook it until tenderize or dissolve.
4- When tomato dissolves properly and turns into smooth paste, add chicken with salt, red chili, dry coriander powder, garam masala powder, green chopped chilies, chopped green coriander and chopped mints leaves in it. And cook it for few minutes.
5- After the chicken turns golden brown, then add yogurt in the chicken. Cook on normal heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until the chicken properly cooked.
6- Now take a grand size pot and spread the cooked chicken in it and make a layer of it. Now make a layer of rice on the chicken. Add yellow food color into milk and mix it well. Spread the mixed milk on the rice randomly.
7- Lastly cover the put and turn the stove on the low flame. And let the rice cook for about 5 to 7 minutes. Once done, remove it from the stove and let the biryani stay covered for 6 to 8 minutes. Dish out the biryani and garnish it with mint leaves. Served with zera raita and green dahi chatani.
