Few days back, we exclusively reported that the singer turned actor Mohsin Abbas Haider is all set to make his return with upcoming track ‘Rooh’. It’s all began when on July 21, Mohsin Abbas Haider’s wife Fatima Sohail had accused him of domestic abuse. She also claimed that the actor had beaten her during pregnancy. After becoming subject to allegations of domestic violence, he has found himself in the eyes of social media storm and backlash. The scandal spread like a wildfire among the masses. Many people including number of A-Lister celebs came out in support of his wife.
Since he announced his return as singer, many of his fans showed their love over the news. Even celebs including Noman Ejaz, Humayun Saeed, Faakhir Mehmood, Amanat Ali, Mohib Mirza, Nimra Khan, Abrar ul Haq, Rida Imran and many others come out in his support. They congratulate him and wish him luck for his comeback. Mohsin also shared their video endorsements on his social media handle. Now, it seems that things are getting more harder for Mohsin. As he received mixed response from the audience on his latest track. Also netizens express their anger on music streaming platform ‘Patari’ for promoting Mohin Abbas Haider’s song. They expressed that is was too soon for Patari to be promoting alleged domestic harasser. But after receiving such response ‘Patari’ remove the Tweet from it’s official account.
Here are some more reactions from the public which were anti Patari and Mohsin Abbas Haider.
Patari which is run by a man who harasses young women, features harassers like Ali Zafar (and caters to their whims) has added another feather to its (women-hating) hat by giving a platform to a man who physically assaulted his wife and cheated on her. https://t.co/rmz86Qrm5b

This is a cop-out. Users shouldn't have to do the work of muting artists who beat their wives. Such artists should not have a platform at all. Stop giving them a platform.

Ugh. These abusers never get cancelled and yet all people talk about is cancel culture. Remember when Chris Brown hit Rihanna and he went on to…still have a music career?

Presenting to you Mohsin Abbas Haider a known wife-beater, abuser, the tiniest of tiny humans being promoted by Patari, a site led by a harasser, known for supporting harassers and feeding off the dirt and dust. https://t.co/SUfYJUhXpP

So basically you are going to continue promoting a wife beater. Well done. Not supporting men who beat the shit out of their wives is not a ‘choice or requirement’ like choosing a ghazal over pop music. It’s basic decency.
