One of Netflix’s most successful and talked about shows, ‘You’ is returning with yet another season. The series has impressed the fans with it’s unique concept. The first season of show became one of the shows on the platform to have 40 millions viewers. The show is a psychological thriller and has become quite popular among audiences. The first season of series premiered on Lifetime on September 9, 2018, in the United States and streaming on Netflix internationally on December 26, 2018. The series attracted a limited audience on Lifetime before becoming more popular and a critical success for Netflix, with over 40 million viewers having streamed the first season after its debut on the streaming service. The second season which moved to Netflix as a Netflix Original title released on December 26, 2019. Like season 1, the season 2 also became critically and commercially successful.

The series ‘You’ just rounded off its second season and as fans continue to stream it with eagerness, the leading man of series Penn Badgley has left them more excited. As Joe aka Penn Badgley has accidentally revealed that Netflix show “You” will return for a third season. Penn Badgley who portrayed a serial killer and bookstore manager in the series, made disclosure during an interview with “Entertainment Tonight”.
Penn Badgley Revealed:
The actor said he would reprise his role in the third season. The 33-year old actor mistakenly slip up as he spoke of his love interest Love Quinn played by Victoria Pedretti. “She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of person. She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of predator. & She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of… You know, dare I say, in the third season — oh, god!,” he said during the interview. When Penn asked for more details about season three. He said although he couldn’t speak officially “but unofficially… it’s going ahead”.
Based on Caroline Kepnes’s novel with the same name, the first season follows the story of Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager and Guinevere Beck, an aspiring writer. Joe upon meeting with Guinevere becomes immediately infatuated with her. To feed his toxic obsession, he uses social media and other technology to track her presence and remove obstacles to their romance.
In the second season, Joe moves to Los Angeles to escape his past. He starts over with a new identity. Where he meets avid chef Love Quinn. Joe again begins falling into his old patterns of obsession and violence. As Joe attempts to forge a new love in the City of Angels, he strives to make his relationship with Love succeed at all costs, to avoid the fate of his past romantic endeavors.
