It was a sad day indeed. As our industry lost one of the most talented man Amanullah. The heartbreaking news came this morning, the king of comedy Amanullah passed away at the age of 70 in Lahore after battling his diseases last night. The comedian had been admitted in the hospital on 3rd March once again. He had been suffering from lung and kidney diseases for quite some time now. His name pretty much explained the kind of man that she was, who not only won the hearts of people by his comic timing but also with his calm, wit and personality. His demise from the world has left everyone in a state of shock.

Deeply saddened by the news of stage drama icon Amanullah’s demise. He was my favourite and very close to me. Even before I played top level cricket I used to watch his dramas at Lawrence garden. He had amazing wit and spontaneity which left audience in splits. RIP .

It is to be mentioned here that Born on 6 March 1950, Amanullah Khan was was a Pakistani television stand up comedian and actor regarded as one of the best comedians in Pakistan. His work brought for him local and international acclaim. He is an inspiration for zillions and an institute. The legend has a world record of 860-day night theater plays. The actor was hospitalized in January 2018. He was treated in the intensive care unit of a local hospital in Lahore but was released later. He was reportedly suffering from a common cold and then developed some complications. The legendary died on 6 March 2020 due to lungs and kidney failure in a local hospital in Lahore.
