Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s blockbuster drama Humsafar has a lot of fans. And became one of the most successful dramas of all times. The story of the drama made place in hearts of audience and the chemistry between the lead pair won zillion hearts. Directed by Sarmad Sultant Khoosat, the script of the drama was from the pen of Farhat Ishtiaq. And the said drama is also from the novel of the writer with same title. Dramatized by Samira Fazal and based on the novel Bano by Razia Butt It is based on the partition of the Indian Subcontinent and the resulting independence of Pakistan. The drama depicts the story of Bano, a girl from a close knit Muslim family living in Ludhiana in the pre-1947 era. The story follows Bano and Hassan, as they face the trials and tribulations caused by the 1947 independence. Sufi Spiritual Drama, Alif Allah Aur Insan, which aired on Hum TV became one of the most loved and watched drama of it’s time. The drama has many awards in it’s credits. And successfully won zillion hearts with it’s strong story line. The drama’s story is based on the famous novel with same title ‘Alif Allah Aur Insaan’ by the well known Urdu Novelist Qaisara Hayat. Main Abdul Qadir Hoon featuring Fahad Mustafa in lead role was indeed a popular one. The drama also made Fahad a household name and earned massive fan following for him. Main Abdul Qadir Hoon was a family drama and got love by the audience. The story of the drama revolves around a man, Abdul Qadir, with gold heart. And whose his life goes through many twists and turns because of people around him trying to influence him. The drama was based on the novel of Serwat Nazir.
Baaghi is a biographical based TV drama on the famous, controversial figure Qandeel Baloch. She was murdered by her brother in the name of honor in July 2016. Umera Ahmed penned the screenplay of this drama. Saba Qamar played the lead character of Fauzia/Qandeel in the series.
