Eid Desserts To Try Out This Eid!


  • Dry Milk – 1 cup
  • Baking Powder – 1 tsp
  • Egg – 1
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom – ½ tsp
  • Pistachios/almonds chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – ¾ cup
  • Milk – 1 liter

Rasmalai Recipe

Mix dry milk, baking powder, egg, oil and small cardamom powder. Knead well like roghni roti dough. Now make small balls of this mixture. Cook the milk (added sugar and small cardamom powder) till it gets a boil. After sugar dissolves, add the prepared balls into milk cook on high flame and cook for 5 minutes. Then lower the flame before it gets over boiled and cook 10-15 minutes or untill the size of Rasmalai balls get double. Pour it in a dish, garnish with almonds, pistachios. Serves chilled. Nawabi Shahi Tukray

  • Big Bread Slices – 6
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Fresh Milk – ½ liter
  • Condensed Milk – 1 tin
  • Pistachio Chopped – 20
  • Almonds Chopped – 20
  • Yellow/Orange Food Color – 1 pinch
  • Oil – As Required

Nawabi Shahi Tukray Recipe

Take the bread slices and cut the edges off. Give them triangle shape. Take a flat pan and add one tbsp oil/desi ghee. Toast the bread from a side, then turn the slices and toast them. Arrange them in a flat dish. Now take milk in another pan and add in 1 cup sugar and 1 pinch on yellow color. Boil the milk while stirring over medium heat until it’s reduced to half and the sugar gets dissolve. Pour the milk over slices and add almonds and pistachio on it. Cool it for an hour. Gulab Jamun

  • Khoya – ½ kg
  • Baking Powder – ½ kg
  • Egg – 1
  • Silver Paper – 2
  • Chopped Almonds – 50 gm
  • Cardamom – ½ tsp
  • Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Oil – For Fry

Sugar Syrup Ingredients

  • Water – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 2 cups
  • Cardamom – 2

Gulab Jamun Recipe

Firstly take khoya, flour, oil, baking powder and cardamom powder. Mix all these ingredients well with hand. After that make small balls out of the mixture. Then fry them into hot oil. Take water and add sugar along with cardamoms. Cook till the sugar is dissolved in water and there are no granules left behind. When the sugar syrup turns to thickens then close the pan.   • Khoya 1/2 kg
  • Cornflour 4 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 cup
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Chopped Almonds 1/2 cup
  • Cream 1 Pack
  • Ground Cardamom 1/2 tbsp


Add evaporated milk, condensed milk, cream, and cardamom together in a bowl. Mix the said ingredients well. Now pour the prepared mixture into popsicle molds, (stainless steel kulfi moulds), or a small bowl. Freeze overnight in freezer. Remove the kulfi from the mould. Rice kheer



  • Basmati Rice – 1/2 Cup Rice
  • Water – 1 Cup
  • Milk – 4 Cups
  • Rice Powder – 2 Rounded TBSP (Dissolved in some extra milk)
  • Sugar – 1/2 Cup
  • Coconut – 1/2 Cup
  • Pistachios Ground – 2 Rounder TBSP
  • Kewra Essence – 1/2 Tsp

Kulfi Recipe

Boil rice into water for 10 minutes. Then add milk and boil for 30 minutes. Now add rice powder, sugar, and coconut and cook for 10 minutes. After that add pistas and essence. You can also garnish it with saffron, almonds and silver paper. Serve hot or cold.
